The issue is related to an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory, also known as 'path traversal', in FortiSandbox. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via crafted HTTP requests.
Recommendations
For FortiSandbox versions 2.4.0 through 2.5.2, update to a version that fixes the 'path traversal' issue.
For FortiSandbox versions 3.2.0 through 3.2.4, update to a version that fixes the 'path traversal' issue.
For FortiSandbox versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.3, update to a version that fixes the 'path traversal' issue.
For FortiSandbox versions 4.2.0 through 4.2.5, update to a version that fixes the 'path traversal' issue.
For FortiSandbox version 4.4.0, update to a version that fixes the 'path traversal' issue.
