Description A vulnerability has been identified in the affected applications, which contain an out of bounds read past the end of an allocated structure while parsing specially crafted SPP files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. The issue is related to a buffer overflow in memory, which can be exploited by an attacker using a specially crafted SPP file to execute arbitrary code.

Recommendations For versions prior to V2201.0009, update to version V2201.0009 or later. For versions prior to V2302.0003, update to version V2302.0003 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of SPP files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
