Description
The issue is related to the use of an uninitialized pointer in Adobe Photoshop, which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the help of a specially crafted PSD file. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Recommendations
For Adobe Photoshop versions 23.5.5 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.5.5 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Photoshop versions 24.7 and earlier, update to a version later than 24.7 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PSD files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
