| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:C/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Google Chrome versions prior to 118.0.5993.70
Description
The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in Intents in Google Chrome, which allowed a remote attacker to bypass content security policy via a crafted HTML page. This could enable a remote attacker to bypass existing access restrictions.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 118.0.5993.70, update to version 118.0.5993.70 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to crafted HTML pages that could exploit the Intents functionality until a patch is applied.
