Description The issue exists due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an operating system command, allowing for os command injection. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted HTTP GET request to execute unauthorized code or commands.
Recommendations For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.5.0 through 8.5.4, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.6.0 through 8.6.5, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to HTTP GET requests to minimize the risk of exploitation.
