Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Banking Trade Finance versions 14.5 through 14.7
Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Infrastructure component of Oracle Banking Trade Finance, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data, and a partial denial of service (DOS) of Oracle Banking Trade Finance.
Recommendations
For versions 14.5 through 14.7, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Infrastructure component until a patch is available.
Avoid using the affected component in a way that could allow an attacker to exploit the issue, such as by limiting user input and interaction with the system.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
