| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Bitrix24 version 22.0.300
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue in the Invoice Edit Page of Bitrix24 allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the victim's browser. If the victim has administrator privileges, it is also possible for attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. This vulnerability is related to the lack of measures to neutralize script attributes on web pages, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to conduct an XSS attack.
Recommendations
For Bitrix24 version 22.0.300, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the Invoice Edit Page functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to the Invoice Edit Page to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Invoice Edit Page if the user has administrator privileges to prevent potential server-side code execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
