Description The issue is related to an improper neutralization of special elements used in an SQL command, also known as 'sql injection', in Fortinet FortiWLM. This allows an attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via a crafted HTTP request. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries to the database.
Recommendations For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.2.2 through 8.6.5, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.3.0 through 8.3.2, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.4.0 through 8.4.2, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.5.0 through 8.5.4, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
