CVE-2023-41580

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpipam versions prior to 1.5.2
Description The issue allows attackers to enumerate arbitrary fields in the LDAP server and access sensitive data via a crafted POST request. This is possible due to a LDAP injection vulnerability via the dname parameter at the "/users/ad-search-result.php" API endpoint.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.5.2, update to version 1.5.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/users/ad-search-result.php" endpoint or disabling the use of the dname parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
