Description The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer, which could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations For Adobe Audition versions 24.0 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the Access of Uninitialized Pointer issue. For Adobe Audition versions 23.6.1 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the Access of Uninitialized Pointer issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of MP4 file parsing functionality until a patch is available.
