Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability when parsing a crafted file, which could result in a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 24.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 24.0 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 23.6 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.6 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of crafted MP4 files in Adobe Premiere Pro until a patch is available.
