Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, allowing a potential attacker to execute code using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 24.0 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the out-of-bounds write issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 23.6 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the out-of-bounds write issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of potentially malicious MP4 files in Adobe Premiere Pro until a patch is available.
