Description The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability. This could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information by using a specially crafted file. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory, and an attacker could leverage it to bypass mitigations such as ASLR.
Recommendations For Adobe Audition versions 23.6.1 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. For Adobe Audition versions 24.0 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of MP4 file parsing functionality until a patch is available.
