CVSS v2.0

10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions TOTOLINK X6000R version 9.4.0cu.852 B20230719
Description The issue arises from the sub 4119A0 function in the shttpd file, which obtains fields from the front-end through the Uci Set The Str function. When these fields are passed to the CsteSystem function, it creates a command execution vulnerability. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For TOTOLINK X6000R version 9.4.0cu.852 B20230719, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the sub 4119A0 function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the shttpd file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Uci Set The Str function in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
