CVE-2023-48601

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It can be exploited if a low-privileged attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability is also related to the lack of protection of the web page structure, which can allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid using URLs that reference vulnerable pages in Adobe Experience Manager until the issue is resolved.
