CVSS v2.0

9.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.6.0 through 8.6.5
Description The issue is related to an improper neutralization of special elements used in an os command, also known as 'os command injection'. The exploitation of this issue can enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands by sending specially formed HTTP requests.
Recommendations For Fortinet FortiWLM versions 8.6.0 through 8.6.5, consider disabling the HTTP GET request functionality until a patch is available to prevent the execution of unauthorized code or commands. Restrict access to the system to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using specially crafted HTTP GET request parameters in the affected system until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
