Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. Specifically, when a specially crafted cursor is used, it can lead to a denial of service.

For IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) version 11.5, consider restricting the use of specially crafted cursors to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using cursors that may be manipulated by an attacker until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
