Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be exploited by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. This could lead to the execution of malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is also associated with a lack of protection for the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to disclose protected information.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Avoid using vulnerable form fields in Adobe Experience Manager until the issue is resolved.
