CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be exploited by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. This could lead to the execution of malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability is also associated with a lack of protection for the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to disclose protected information.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
