| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
User Post Gallery WordPress plugin versions 2.19 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to insufficient authorization procedure in the User Post Gallery WordPress plugin, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is possible because the plugin does not limit what callback functions can be called by users, making it possible for any visitors to run code on sites running it.
Recommendations
For versions 2.19 and earlier, consider disabling the plugin until a patch is available to prevent potential code execution by unauthorized users. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
