| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Adobe Experience Manager. This vulnerability can be exploited if a low-privileged attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, potentially allowing malicious JavaScript content to be executed within the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability is also described as being related to the lack of protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.18 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using URLs that reference vulnerable pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about additional mitigation measures.
