Description
The issue is related to a command injection vulnerability in the HTTP service of D-Link G416 routers, which allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. The vulnerability exists due to the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not specified.
