Description
The issue is related to a command injection vulnerability via the
pingSet function. This vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is also associated with a buffer overflow in the memory of the Tenda i29 wireless access point's firmware.Recommendations
For Tenda i29 version V1.0.0.5, consider disabling the
pingSet function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the device to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
