Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the database management system, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted query. An authenticated user with CONNECT privileges can cause this denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5, consider restricting access to the database until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the ability to execute specially crafted queries until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
