6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) versions 10.1 through 11.5
Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the IBM DB2 database management system and the IBM DB2 Connect Server. It could allow an authenticated user with CONNECT privileges to cause a denial of service using a specially crafted query.
Recommendations For versions 10.1 through 11.5, consider restricting access to the database until a patch is available, and ensure that only necessary users have CONNECT privileges to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
