Description
The issue is related to the PMRChangeSparseMemOSMem() function of the PowerVR GPU driver in Android and ChromeOS, which is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in memory. This could allow an attacker to escalate their privileges. The vulnerability is due to an incorrect bounds check, leading to a possible out of bounds write. Exploitation does not require user interaction and could lead to local escalation of privilege in the kernel.
