| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, which can be exploited by a low-privileged attacker convincing a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page. This may result in malicious JavaScript content being executed within the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability is also associated with insufficient protection of the web page structure, potentially allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, be cautious when visiting URLs referencing potentially vulnerable pages, as they may execute malicious JavaScript content within the context of the victim's browser.
