VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe After Effects versions 24.0.3 (and earlier) and 23.6.0 (and earlier)
Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, specifically a specially crafted AEP file.
Recommendations For versions 24.0.3 and earlier, and 23.6.0 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of AEP files from untrusted sources until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability to open AEP files in Adobe After Effects until the issue is resolved.
