CVE-2023-41358

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions FRRouting FRR versions through 9.0
Description An issue was discovered in FRRouting FRR where the bgpd/bgp packet.c file processes NLRIs if the attribute length is zero. This can allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For FRRouting FRR versions through 9.0, consider disabling the processing of NLRIs with zero attribute length in the bgpd/bgp packet.c file as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
