Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
SCHUHFRIED version 8.22.00
Description
The issue is related to the use of hardcoded credentials in the SCHUHFRIED system, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to obtain access to protected information using a specially crafted
curl command. This allows the attacker to obtain the database password.Recommendations
For version 8.22.00, consider disabling the use of hardcoded credentials as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the database to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable version until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
