Description
The issue is related to a null pointer dereference error in the
opal powercap init() function of the Linux kernel. This error can occur when the kasprintf() function returns a null pointer, indicating a failure in dynamically allocating memory. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
