Description The issue in the chash array component of openlink virtuoso-opensource is related to the improper neutralization of special elements used in SQL commands, allowing attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via crafted SQL statements. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using specially crafted SQL operators.
Recommendations For openlink virtuoso-opensource version 7.2.9, consider disabling the chash array component as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to SQL commands to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using specially crafted SQL statements in the affected component until the issue is resolved.
