Description The issue is related to a vulnerability in the Query component of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, which can be exploited by a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP. This vulnerability allows unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all accessible data within PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, as well as unauthorized access to critical data. The vulnerability is associated with inadequate authorization procedure due to incorrect input validation.

Recommendations For versions 8.59, 8.60, and 8.61, consider restricting access to the Query component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of the Query component to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
