CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the PMIC GLINK altmode driver in the Linux kernel, which currently supports at most two ports. The problem arises from an incomplete port sanity check on notifications, potentially allowing access and corruption of memory beyond the port array if a notification for an unsupported port is received. This could lead to unauthorized access to confidential information in the system.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
