Description
The issue is related to the Console component of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of Oracle WebLogic Server. The vulnerability is due to incorrect clearing or release of resources resulting from copying a buffer without checking the size of the input data. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using the HTTP protocol.
Recommendations
For versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
