Description The issue is related to a null-pointer dereference in the pgtable cache add function of the powerpc/mm component of the Linux kernel. The kasprintf() function returns a pointer to dynamically allocated memory, which can be NULL upon failure. The vulnerability can be exploited to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
