Description The vulnerability is related to the cp2112 driver in the Linux kernel, which called INIT DELAYED WORK within cp2112 gpio irq startup, resulting in duplicate initializations of the workqueue on subsequent IRQ startups following an initial request. This resulted in a warning in set work data in workqueue.c, as well as a rare NULL dereference within process one work in workqueue.c. The issue can be exploited to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
