CVE-2023-52838

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a resource leak in the imsttfb component of the Linux kernel. It is caused by incorrect error handling in the imsttfb probe() function. If the init imstt() function fails, it is necessary to call iounmap(par->cmap regs) to prevent the resource leak. This could potentially allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
