Description The issue is related to a use-after-free error in the IB/mlx5 component of the Linux kernel. This error occurs when the workqueue allocation fails and returns NULL in mlx5 mkey cache init(), leading to a double free of the same QP. The vulnerability can be exploited to potentially elevate privileges in the system. The error is reported by Syzkaller in the ib destroy qp user function.
