Description The issue is related to a potential string overflow in the thermal core of the Linux kernel. The dev->id value, which comes from ida alloc(), is a number between zero and INT MAX. If this value is too high, it can cause the sprintf() functions to overflow. This could potentially lead to a denial of service.
