Description The issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the parse endpoints() function, which is related to pointer dereferencing. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For TCPreplay TCPprep version 4.4.3, consider disabling the parse endpoints() function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the parse endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
