VectorAV:P/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to an off-by-one error in the connector status of the glink component in the Linux kernel's USB-C connector status. The UCSI connector's indices start from 1 up to 3, PMIC GLINK MAX PORTS. The condition in the pmic glink ucsi connector status() callback has been corrected to fix Type-C orientation reporting for the third USB-C connector. This error could potentially allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
