Description
The vulnerability is related to a possible NULL dereference in the
rt6 probe() function in the net/ipv6/route.c file of the Linux kernel. This issue can be exploited to cause a denial of service. The rt6 probe() function is used to handle IPv6 routing, and a NULL dereference can occur when the in6 dev get() function returns NULL.Recommendations
