Description The issue is related to the drm/amd/display component of the Linux kernel, where the msg id is used as an array index and cannot be a negative value, specifically not equal to MOD HDCP MESSAGE ID INVALID (-1). The vulnerability is resolved by checking whether msg id is valid before reading and setting, which fixes 4 OVERRUN issues reported by Coverity.
