Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the ocfs2 component of the Linux kernel. This can potentially allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The vulnerability has been resolved by adding bounds checking to the ocfs2 check dir entry() function, ensuring that all members of ocfs2 dir entry do not exceed valid memory regions.
