Description A critical issue exists due to the lack of neutralization of special elements in the setUssd function of the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code through os command injection by manipulating the ussd argument. The attack can be launched remotely.

Recommendations For Totolink LR1200GB version 9.1.0u.6619 B20230130, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the setUssd function of the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the ussd argument in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
