CVE-2019-25212

CVSS v3.1

7.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions video carousel slider with lightbox plugin for WordPress versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.6
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the id parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level access and above to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.6, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the id parameter in the affected plugin until a patch is available. Additionally, limiting administrator-level access can help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
