Description A reference leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when pm runtime get sync fails, causing the PM reference count to be incremented even though it should not be. This results in a reference leak. The issue is fixed by replacing pm runtime get sync with pm runtime resume and get to keep the usage counter balanced. The affected functions are stm32f7 i2c xx.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
