CVE-2021-47035

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the iommu/vt-d component in the Linux kernel, where the first level page table used for IOVA translation only supports Read-Only and Read-Write permissions, but not Write-Only permission. However, when using the second level, separate permissions are given that allow WriteOnly, which seems inconsistent. The goal is to have consistent behavior and remove the Write-Only permission configuration for second-level paging entries.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
