VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to an off-by-one read overflow in the hdmi 14 process transaction() function. The hdcp i2c offsets[] array did not have an entry for HDCP MESSAGE ID WRITE CONTENT STREAM TYPE, leading to the overflow. The fix involves adding an entry to the array and copying the offset value from similar code. Additionally, several arrays were declared to have HDCP MESSAGE ID MAX entries as a precautionary measure.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
